Our Founders

At A.S. International, our foundation is built on the vision, expertise, and dedication of our founders—Shubhra Saxena and Amit Saxena—who bring together a rare blend of academic excellence, technical mastery, and entrepreneurial foresight. Their combined experience, passion for education, and commitment to innovation have been instrumental in shaping A.S. International into one of India’s leading names in curriculum-aligned educational kits, scientific laboratory equipment, and inclusive learning solutions.

Shubhra Saxena, Co-founder and Registered Partner, is a Gold Medalist in M.Sc. Foods and Nutrition from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, with deep-rooted expertise in child development, educational pedagogy, and curriculum design. Her strong academic background empowers her to lead the development of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) and DIY educational kits aligned with NEP 2020 and mapped across CBSE, ICSE, and state board curricula. She is especially passionate about creating early childhood education modules, foundational literacy and numeracy tools, and learning aids for special education needs. Her approach ensures that every product is pedagogically sound and child-friendly—designed to foster conceptual understanding, motor skills, and multisensory engagement. Under her leadership, the company has launched several impactful initiatives across government schools, CSR programs, and private institutions.

Amit Saxena, Co-founder and Registered Partner, is a trained Instrumentation Technologist from the prestigious Indo-Swiss Training Centre (CSIO–CSIR), Chandigarh, with over two decades of experience in scientific equipment manufacturing, quality control, and technical systems integration. His deep knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics lab equipment is complemented by his ability to engineer TVET kits, fluid mechanics setups, and electronics training systems. He leads the company's R&D, production, and quality assurance divisions, ensuring every tool meets safety standards and is classroom-ready. His expertise has helped A.S. International scale nationwide and expand into markets such as Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Together, the Saxenas embody a powerful synergy of academic insight and technical precision. Their commitment to inclusive education, STEM advancement, and educational equity drives the mission to bridge the gap between traditional learning and real-world application. From multilingual, activity-based kits to sensor-based innovations like the EchoRead Pen, their work reflects a deep understanding of diverse learner needs and a focus on impact-driven education.

They have also led efforts in establishing partnerships with government departments, NGOs, CSR foundations, and school networks, delivering large-scale, customized educational solutions that are scalable and sustainable. Under their guidance, A.S. International has emerged as a DPIIT-recognised startup, committed to transforming India’s educational landscape while taking Made in India learning tools to global classrooms.
